Michelle Fishman, PA-C is a board certified Physician Assistant (PA) and a former Registered Dietician (RD) who has worked as a diabetes specialist for the past 15 years. She received her BS in Dietetics from the University of California, Davis and her Master PA Practice from the University of Southern California. Michelle also completed a Dietetics Internship at the University of Wisconsin, Madison where she then worked in Clinical Research for 2 years.

This combination of education and experience gives her a unique perspective to treat Diabetes and other nutrition related health problems.

While Diabetes may be her area of expertise, she has always focused on a person's whole body and cares for each person mentally and physically. The quintessential team player, Michelle works closely with Drs. Brana to consult on patient care as needed.

Born and raised in Southern California, she loves serving in the communities where she grew up. That's why Michelle is also a member of the Ventura County Search and Rescue Team for 14 years, where she responds to both wilderness and urban emergencies in Ventura County.

Michelle enjoys spending time with her family, creating & tending to her vast vegetable garden, and enjoying time outdoors.
